Welcome!
Hello!
I’m so glad you’re here.
You know, when I first started learning about positive psychology, it was all I wanted to talk about. I told anybody who would listen about this new “science of happiness”…friends, family, coworkers, random strangers on airplanes (looking at you, seat 18F).
Being a scientist myself, I was thrilled to learn that people are actually researching this stuff using scientific method and backing up their findings with things like modeling, data, and statistics.
Now, I realize not everyone gets a kick out of things like null hypotheses and p-values (really?), so I’ve decided to start this blog.
A few times a month, I’ll write about a hot topic in wellbeing or the latest research on positive psychology, or share a fun, mood-boosting activity for you to try. I get to share all the fascinating research coming out these studies and you get to enjoy the juicy bits without having to wade through all the technical jargon. Win, win!
And now, without further ado, here are…
The Top 5 Reasons Practicing Positive Psychology is Cool (backed by research*)
It makes you happier.
It makes you more successful.
It makes you healthier.
It reduces stress.
It leads to better relationships.
*In the coming weeks, I’ll explain each of these in greater (but not too science-y) detail.
Don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter so you’ll never miss a post!
